About me

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Data Science in Humanities at Chosun University, South Korea. My current work involves using computational models to analyze long-form audio recordings and ego-centric video recordings to understand how children acquire language by interacting with their environment.

I completed my Ph.D. in 2025 from Aix-Marseille Université, France under the supervision of Abdellah Fourtassi and Benoit Favre. My background is in computational linguistics (Master’s degree at Charles University, Prague) and computer science (Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pune).

I am primarily interested in studying the development of children’s socio-cognitive abilities and their language acquisition. In particular, I am interested in understanding how children learn from social interaction by studying large scale longitudinal data. For this purpose, I make use of machine learning models from Natural Language Processing (NLP) as proxies for analysing the behaviour of children having social interactions on a large scale.
